Sabin Stairs (PDX Stairs)

There are over 140 staircases in the Portland area designed to provided faster pedestrian travel between neighborhoods, to shopping and restaurants, and simply just traversing the hilly terrain.

The Sabin Stairs Connect 19th near Skidmore on the upper side and 19th and Alameda on the lower side. Visitors to this flamingo door site can find a community orchard and on the upper side you are a block from the Sabin Hydropark.

If you descend the stairs, you’ll be rewarded with views of the city.
